I worked on the Latvian film 1906, released in 2019. I was part of the art department for most of the project and also appeared as an extra in a few scenes. While the movie itself isn’t particularly impressive, it was a large-scale production that gave me plenty of hands-on experience. A big part of that experience, however, was dealing with negative and unprofessional attitudes from those higher up the chain. Still, it was a valuable lesson in navigating the politics and pressure of a bigger set. You can spot me in this crew photo—third from the left on top.
